Day 6: Frustrated

So today I stepped on the scale and for the second day in a row, my weight remained the same. I know that I am doing well and I am exercising and keeping myself accountable, but I hope that I get out of this plateau, it is really frustrating. Anyways...on to the eating...

1 English Muffin - 150
2 TBSP of Natural Peanut Butter - 210

     Total - 360

1 Slice of Bread - 110
1/2 Ham Steak - 135
1 Slice of Cheese - 70
3 TBSP of Hummus - 105

     Total - 420

2 Slices of Steakum Meat - 200
1 Slice of Bread - 110
1 Slice of Cheese - 70
Onion - 50
1/2 Cup of Ice Cream - 160
1 Peach - 80

     Total - 670

Total for the Day - 1450

Exercise - 2.6 Mile Walk

Hoping that tomorrow will bring a little bit of good news, but at least I didn't let it keep me from persevering through the day! As always! Thanks for the love and support! You guys are the best :)

  2. OK, David. Before you step on the scale every day, ask yourself if you can emotionally handle what you're going to see. Is it going to discourage you or spur you on to embrace the discipline of the day. I would suggest just weighing yourself once a week, not because you are trying to hide from your weight, but because NO scale is that accurate to be able to indicate from one day to the next what you've lost or gained. The margin of error for just about any scale is about 2 pounds. You'll have a more accurate picture after a week. Does that make sense? Mrs. H.
